          Summary:
The “ReForm our Future” project is designed to create transformative change in youth work by fostering personal growth, environmental awareness, and entrepreneurial skills. Through hands-on creative activities, participants develop self-reflection, self-expression, and confidence, turning challenges into opportunities for personal development. The project promotes environmental sustainability by teaching climate-conscious practices and encouraging participants to integrate eco-friendly habits into their daily lives.

It also cultivates an entrepreneurial mindset, offering practical experiences in upcycling, marketing, and product development, preparing participants for potential business ventures. Emphasizing inclusion and diversity, the project fosters cross-cultural understanding and dialogue, creating a welcoming space where everyone feels valued.

Participants are inspired to take initiative, leading sustainability-focused projects and engaging in civic activities that promote positive social change in their communities. Additionally, the project enhances digital literacy, equipping participants with skills in video editing, social media advocacy, and content creation to share their impact with a broader audience. Beyond the program, lasting networks are formed, ensuring collaboration and continued impact long after the project ends.

Objectives:
 – Increase participants’ awareness of climate change, waste management, and their personal environmental footprints.
– Encourage participants to explore entrepreneurship as a viable path through innovative and artistic methods of upcycling.
– Cultivate creativity, innovation, and competencies among participants through engaging upcycle activities
– Encourage the creation of art using recycled materials as a means of self-expression and environmental advocacy
– Encourage the exchange of ideas, best practices, and cultural perspectives on environmental sustainability
– Encourage the development of youth-led initiatives that promote sustainable practices beyond the duration of the project
– Promote digital transformation through the use of digital tools and introduction to Open Badges of cities of learning platform.
– To promote common European values, foster social integration, enhance intercultural understanding and a sense of belonging to the community.

          Participants` profile:
Eligible participants per country: 6 young motivated people at the age of 16-30 and 1 group leader with no age limit, but 18+
Working language: English, at least lvl A2
Insurance & Health assistance: The insurance is a responsibility of each participant. The cost for issuing it will not be covered by the hosting organizations.

  • English level (at least A2 level of speaking and writing);
  • Committed to contribute to the follow up of the project;
  • Gender Balance have to be followed as much as possible;
  • Be interested in developing competences and implement follow-up initiatives;
  • Be aware of the characteristics of the learning environment (non-formal education);

          Working methods:
The methodology is based on non-formal education methods including presentations, world café, theater, round tables, debates, video creation, role plays etc. The project activities will be preparation, introduction, getting to know each other, workshops in plenary and teams, outdoor activities, intercultural evenings, visits, reflection and evaluation according to agenda.

            Venue:
Participants will stay in a charming, traditional guest house in the picturesque village of Lofou. The guest house, made of wood, embodies the authentic architecture of the region. Each room is equipped with air conditioning (AC) and accommodates up to six people, ensuring a comfortable stay. Every room also features its own shower and toilet facilities. Enjoy the unique experience of staying in a historic setting while having all modern amenities at your disposal.

          What to bring with me:
– As we want to use as less plastic as possible please bring with you your own coffee/tea cup or mug and a bottle/recipient for water
– Hygiene products.
– Medicines if needed.
– Each national team must bring at least one laptop! (for digital activities).
– Bring your adaptors and charges for your devices as these cannot be provided.
– We will have an intercultural evening, so bring your national food and drink.
– Bring your national flag, magazines, postcards what will help you to introduce your country.
– ….and your good mood. This is the most important ☺

          Travel Costs:
100% of the participants‘ travel costs will be reimbursed within the valid budget sums calculated according to the official rules of Erasmus+ programme. The transportation will be arranged by “The Change is in You” Association.

Important: In order to obtain reimbursement for the tickets, you need to follow these steps:
1) You need to present ALL THE TICKETS (that includes all the boarding passes), including RETURN TICKETS, which you will send after realization of the project, otherwise you will not be reimbursed.
2) You need to use PUBLIC TRANSPORT e.g. planes, trains, buses, trams or underground.
3) You need to depart from the country where your sending organization is.
4) It is recommended to make scans of tickets before your arrival in case you lose them. The reimbursement will be done only in Euros.
5) You must complete the dissemination activities and send to the organizers evidences of them (pictures, videos, written report, etc.). Could be one for the whole group or individual – the decision is up to each participant and national group.

          Financial support:
Project is supported by “Erasmus+” program. Accommodation, meals, program and travel cost (based on distance) are covered from grant.

          Insurance:
The travel insurance is mandatory. It costs 1 BGN/day and covers all the common injuries during projects up to 5000 Euro. Our organization is not covering insurance, it is individual, but we are going to support you to obtain a proper insurance for the duration of the project.           YouthPass:
Every participant is individually entitled to receive a Youthpass Certificate, which confirms participation and validates the non-formal learning (NFL) experience of Training course project. Validating the learning experiences of participants is important in itself and the document can be of benefit in terms of the educational or employment future of the participant. Through Youthpass the European Commission ensures the Training course activity is recognized as a non-formal learning experience.
