„Think up! – designing and developing regeneration plans through EVS“
Summary of the project:
To experience the use of European instruments and opportunities in order to promote „social regeneration“ projects. Volunteers will be able to experience the FORUM HUB’s as a meeting point, for debate and support social facilitation, in which co-design activities for the territory development will be carried out through European opportunities
Increase the competences of foreign languages and transversal skills
Increase sense of initiative of young people
Increase active participation of young people to the life of local community
Increase civic sense of responsibility
Tasks of the volunteer:
support the staff in project design activities for the territory innovation and development
prepare and organize training and laboratory activities in the social, economic and urban areas at risk of the city, aimed at promoting volunteering and active citizenship for social inclusion and the activation of vulnerable young people
identification and realization of a FORUM HUB
realizing information / dissemination activities on the opportunities of European programs
collaborate and participate in the European projects carried on by Sinergia
Profile of the volunteer:
#age between 18 and 30 years old
#motivated to participate in a long-term volunteering project
#strongly motivated to stay abroad (away from their usual environment) for a long period of time
#convinced that the experience of volunteering will offer useful results for his / her own life (also professional)
#willing to learn and to take full advantage of the opportunity offered by the project
#motivated to improve / enhance / develop his/her own spirit of initiative
#motivated to improve / enhance / develop their degree and participate in the life of their community
#motivated to know new cultures / uses / habits
#motivated to learn new languages
#motivated to „spend“ the project results in their country of origin (possibly in the sending organization)
Volunteers mission at Sinergia will take place from Monday to Friday. The volunteers will work 35 hours per week.
Volunteers will be accommodated in equipped flat.
We will provide volunteers with transport cards.
The volunteers will get a monthly allowance for food expense.
The volunteers will be provided with Insurance CIGNA
Volunteers will be mentored by their tutor and the members of the organization.
Youth pass will be delivered.
Age limt of the volunteer:
As you might know the age limit for an EVS project needs to be between 18-30.
The language of your project will be English during the work time and you will learn Italian too. Italian language courses will be provided by a proffesional teacher and/or a volunteer. They are not mandatory, but are strongly recommended due to the daily work with of the volunteers.
Each volunteer will receive 230 Euro per month which are as it follows: 110 Euro for pocket money and 120 Euro for food.
The participant shall receive a financial support from EU funds for 10 months. The total amount for the mobility period shall be determined by multiplying the number of days/months of the mobility with the rate applicable per day/month for the receiving country concerned. In the case of incomplete months, the financial support is calculated by multiplying the number of days in the incomplete month with 1/30 of the unit cost per month.
The reimbursement of costs incurred in connection with special needs, when applicable, shall be based on the documentation such as invoices, receipts etc provided by the participant.
The financial support may not be used to cover similar costs already funded by Union funds.
Travel cost reimbursement:
100% of the participants‘ travel costs will be reimbursed within the valid budget sums calculated according to the official rules of Erasmus+ programme. If a sum exceeds the limit, the excess will be paid by the participants themselves. The reimbursement limit is 275€ per participant from Bulgaria.
Important: In order to obtain reimbursement for the tickets, you need to obey the following rules:
1) You need to present ALL THE TICKETS, including RETURN TICKETS, which you will send after realization of the project, otherwise YOU WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED (DO NOT FORGET TO KEEP YOUR BOARDING PASSES FROM AIRPORT CHECK-IN)
2) You need to use PUBLIC TRANSPORT e.g. planes, trains, buses, trams or underground.
3) You need to depart from the country.
4) It is recommended to make scans of tickets before your arrival in case you lose them. The reimbursement will be done only in euros.
Every participant is individually entitled to receive a Youthpass Certificate, which confirms participation and validates the non-formal learning (NFL) experience of Training course project. Validating the learning experiences of participants is important in itself and the document can be of benefit in terms of the educational or employment future of the participant. Through Youthpass the European Commission ensures the Training course activity is recognized as a non-formal learning experience.
