“The Change in in You” Association was established in 2014. Since then we have been actively working with kids and young people, doing our best to promote volunteering, transnational mobility, active citizenship, healthy lifestyle.
We are located in the beautiful mountain town of Tryavna and try to provide diverse leisure time activities for almost all ages. We have worked with over 30 foreign and 50 local volunteers. Among the activities we organize are: creative workshops, summer camp, language games, sports events, hiking trips, exhibitions, etc.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
At first place, “Outdoor Fun” project aims at bringing together young people from different cultures, with different background, social status, experience and viewpoints through the power of art, which is a universal means of communication.
We would like to show local community and all young people that there are no boundaries in communication and friendship unless we set such.
No matter the color of our skin, our sexual orientation, financial status, we all strive for one – to be happy.
If you join us, your tasks will include:
- Street art – paintings around the town (water pipes, walls, asphalt, etc.);
- Art workshop with local kids and youngsters;
- Intercultural evening – each team will have the chance to present interesting elements of their culture (food, dancing, music, games);
- Short cinema with discussions;
- Organizing free outdoor music parties;
- Video filming and editing;
- Other events and activities by your choice, depending on your skills, interests, creativity, team decisions focused on any kind of art, multicultural representation, leisure time.
- 9-11 August – Be a part of the first edition of “Fun Навън” festival, which will try to promote various forms of street art, free time activities outdoor, healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle.
ACCOMMODATION
You will be accommodated in the dorms of the National High School of Fine Arts in Tryavna. Two people will share one room with a bathroom. There is a common kitchen for all and a nice big yard. The school is located right next to the office of the organization, in the central part of the town.
For good or bad, you will share the dorm with 14 Spanish volunteers who will be also a part of the organization at that time.
In the school yard we organize the cinema nights and the intercultural evenings.

Note! These are the original partner organisations. We are ready to make some changes in case you are really motivated and we select you among others as an appropriate candidate.

The organizer covers 100% of travel costs to the venue and back based on the budget limit for each country. For example, if you are coming from Italy and your travel limit is 275.00eu, but you have spent in total 233.00eu, you will be reimbursed 233.00eu. If you have spent, however, 297.00eu, we would reimburse you to the maximum, i. e. 275.00eu.
In order to get reimbursed, you need to keep and submit to us all original receipts, boarding passes, tickets, etc.
We recommend travelling to Sofia airport, because this is the easiest way to reach us.
Once a volunteer is selected, they should buy a return ticket.
If you face some financial difficulties and you cannot afford buying your ticket, please, contact us. There is nothing to worry about!
To make it easier for you, we have gathered here the different direct travel options. Only from Latvia there are no direct flights to Sofia. There are some to Varna. You could check Skyscanner to find a good offer. We will discuss it further. Any volunteer selected should discuss the travel option they have selected with the receiving organization before buying the ticket.
